Finnish Cancer registry

The scientific personnel of the Finnish Cancer Registry also guide, as a part of their research activities, doctoral dissertations. Most of this activity is integrated with the Doctoral Programmes in Public Health (DPPH) Doctoral School (http://www.uta.fi/laitokset/tsph/DPPH/index.htm) as a project entitled "Risk of cancer, risk factors in cancer, cancer patient survival, cancer screening". Altogether, more than 100 dissertations have come out based on the data of the Finnish Cancer Registry. Those interested in a dissertation project and guidance should contact the listed supervisors.
